Discover the wonderful world of cacao and its history. In an interactive and sensory way, you will learn about each process involved in transforming cacao into chocolate using bike-powered machines.
The Bici-Chocolate tour begins with a welcome and introduction by the tour leader and owner of the chocolate shop. Then we will get comfortable and connect with a cacao ceremony.
We will watch a short video about the history of cacao, followed by an interactive explanation of the transformation of cacao using bike-powered machines in some of the processes from harvesting, fermentation, drying, roasting, grinding, and tempering, where we will learn how to make and taste chocolate. Finally, you can explore the shop where our products are sold and buy chocolates for yourself or a loved one.

In the last 600 meters, you will find small signs with our logo (Bici Chocolate) that will guide visitors to the chocolate shop.

When should I book?

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.


Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
