The activity takes place within the **Ses Salines Natural Park of Ibiza and Formentera**, a protected marine reserve of great ecological value. This environment is ideal for a first contact with the underwater world: its crystal-clear waters, abundant marine life, and posidonia meadows (a marine plant declared a World Heritage Site) make it a true paradise.

From the Vellmari diving center, located in the port of La Savina, there is a short boat ride of about 10 minutes to the dive site. ### How does the activity work?

The whole experience lasts about two hours, including preparation, the boat trip, and the dive, which lasts about **25 minutes underwater** (this can be extended depending on how much air you use and how comfortable you feel).

The maximum depth of the dive is about 6 meters, enough to discover the marine ecosystem without any risks or complications. You will always be accompanied, and the instructor will be by your side throughout the dive, ensuring that you enjoy the experience safely. ### What will you see?

During your dive, you will marvel at the clarity of the water and the richness of the seabed: colorful fish, octopuses, sponges, starfish, schools of fish, and, if you are lucky, even groupers or rays. You will also dive among the famous posidonia meadows, which are essential for the biodiversity of the Mediterranean. ### What do you need to bring?
