Country: Spain
Duration:
02:00 hours
Description
Venture out and navigate with a kayak along the coast of Hondarribia. We will visit one of the largest fishing ports in the Basque Country, sail next to the San Telmo Castle and snorkel.
Amuitz Island is located on Cape Higuer, in the northernmost part of the town of Hondarribia. It's also the end of the Pyrenees mountain range that ends in the Cantabrian Sea.
We'll start the route on Hondarribia beach and head to our first stop, the traditional fishing port with a large fleet of traditional fishing boats. From there, we'll head to Amuitz Island. On the way back, we'll stop to rest on the rocky beach of Los Frailes to stretch our legs and take a well-deserved swim in its crystal-clear waters. Once you're rested, you'll have a leisurely return to the beach to finish the activity.
* SNORKELING OPTION: If you'd like to snorkel, just let the company know when you book, and they'll provide you with a snorkeling mask on the day of the activity at no extra cost. Kayak Basque Country has 10 "easybreath" masks, which make breathing and seeing the sea much easier.
