The *Blue Safari* is a unique, low-impact excursion that allows you to get close to the *Perito Moreno Glacier* and enjoy its majesty from a privileged location. *Departure from El Calafate: the excursion begins with pick-up from your hotel and transfer to **Los Glaciares National Park* with a bilingual tour guide on board.
*Boat trip: Once at Puerto Bajo de las Sombras, 7 km from the National Park walkways, you will board a boat to enjoy the most wonderful views of the glacier from the waters of the Brazo Rico arm of Lake Argentino.
*Hike: Upon disembarking, you will walk along a beautiful beach with breathtaking views of the glacier. On this 1.5 km nature trail, you will also pass through forests and areas of sand and stones. This easy hike will take you close to the south face of the glacier, where you can touch it with your own hands and enjoy its intense colors and shapes.
*View from the boat*: At the end of the hike, you will board the boat to return to the port, but first you will sail very close to the imposing south face of the glacier, observing its majestic ice wall and, perhaps, you will be able to witness a thunderous calving. In addition, you will toast with a delicious Calafate liqueur and ice from the glacier.
*Visit to the Los Glaciares National Park boardwalks: After returning to the port, our transfer will take you to the boardwalks of the National Park, where you can enjoy a panoramic view and explore the area for 2 hours. (The visit to the boardwalks can be before or after the excursion, depending on the day and time of year).
*Return to El Calafate*: Finally, you will take the bus back and arrive in El Calafate after traveling through the Patagonian steppe, with your soul filled with the natural energy of this unique glacier. This tour will allow you to live an unforgettable experience, enjoying nature at its best and the proximity to the Perito Moreno Glacier. A unique and unmissable experience!

Physical demands: Low. The tour is not canceled due to rain. Pick-up is from your hotel reception in El Calafate and will begin at 9:00 AM.
Pick-up is included only for hotels located in El Calafate. If you are staying in a private apartment or outside the pick-up route, you will be provided with the nearest available meeting point or at our sales office located at Avenida del Libertador 935, El Calafate.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
