The Middleton Place tour is an all-inclusive tour experience of one of Charleston's most beloved historic sites. The tour begins with a guided tour of the Middleton Place gardens. It is proceeded by a historic house tour and then a delicious and authentic Lowcountry styled lunch. Guests will also have time to see the wildlife on site, learn about the enslaved people of Middleton Place and shop at the Museum shop and Garden Market.

The Middleton Place Tour meets sand departs from the Charleston Visitors Center Bus Shed at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403. The Charleston Visitors Center has on-site paid parking.
INCLUDED
- The Middleton Place Tour is an all inclusive plantation tour experience. Guests will be picked up at 9:00am from the Charleston Visitors Center at 375 Meeting Street, Charleston, SC 29403 in our spacious and luxurious Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. This will be proceeded by a scenic and narrated half hour drive to Middleton Place through former rice country.
- When guests arrive to Middleton Place they will be greeted by Middleton Place staff and given tour instructions and their itineraries. This is proceeded by a beautiful garden tour of the Middleton Place grounds. The remainder of the tour includes the Middleton Place house tour, a delicious and authentic lunch in the Middleton Place restaurant, a tour of Eliza's house (formerly cabins for the enslaved) and finally a chance to walk the grounds, see the farm animals or visit the gift shop.
- Guests will then be transported back to the Charleston Visitors Center in Downtown Charleston to conclude the tour.

- Alcoholic beverages at the Middleton Place restaurant (guests can purchase alcohol at their own expense.)
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
