Explore Nashville from another angle on this one-way, downriver kayak trip. Meet our shuttle vans downtown to head upriver to the launch location in beautiful Shelby Park. After a quick tutorial, our team gets you outfitted and on the water for an easy 3mi / 1hr paddle down the Cumberland River.
Immerse yourself in nature while you stay right in the middle of the city! Enjoy spotting local wildlife like the Turtles and Great Blue Herons that dot the riverbank, and see the impressive river-commerce infrastructure that keeps Nashville running. Paddle easily along the tree-lined shore until you are met with our award-winning views of the Nashville skyline.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
-This rental takes place rain or shine, except for severe weather (lightning, temperatures above 100℉, etc.).
-You must wear a life jacket at all times.
-Adequate sun protection is highly recommended.
-You may want to take a change of clothes in case you get wet.
-This route includes a shuttle to the kayak put-in point in Shelby Park. You will meet the shuttle and end your paddle at the same location downtown: 2 Victory Ave.
-Cumberland River is a Class 1 flat water commercial waterway and there are no rapids. This route goes one-way, with the flow of the river.
-You are welcome to take refreshments, coolers and ice. No glass containers allowed.
-Gratuities encouraged.
-Rentals are subject to the whims of Metro Parks and Events. Day-of location changes possible. Any possible changes will be communicated to you.
-Pets are allowed but must be on a leash and wear a PFD (personal flotation device) at all times.
All areas that customers touch are frequently cleaned
Meet our crew and branded shuttle vans at 2 Victory Ave. Look for our mermaid logo, blue and green kayaks, and branded tent next to the "red roller coaster" statue by the Bridge Building near Nissan Stadium. We will then shuttle you to the kayaking start point at the Shelby Park Boat Ramp (late arrivals can meet us there).
When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
