Description
Explore mountains in Olympic National Park, hiking less than a mile and picnicking with panoramic views of the ocean, mountains, and glaciers. Then enjoy the rainforest at the shores of Lake Crescent
We will meet in downtown Seattle and then cross the Puget Sound by a 30-minute ferry ride, where we will have views of the Seattle skyline. Then we drive for 1.5 hours to Olympic National Park, where we hike less than a mile on Hurricane Ridge, and we picnic with panoramic views of the Puget Sound, the mountains, and some distant glaciers.
After a few hours, we drive to a lower elevation where we walk along the shores of Lake Crescent and through the rainforest. In the late afternoon, we then drive to the quaint town of Poulsbo, the so-called "Little Norway" on the way back to the ferry to Seattle.
