Away from the hustle and bustle, you will meet in the fragrant larch and Swiss stone pine forests to learn one of humanity's oldest skills from the ground up: carving with a knife.

Under expert guidance, you will learn everything you need to get started in this grounding hobby:

*Safety & knife handling: You will learn the most important cutting techniques to work in a way that conserves energy and is completely injury-free.

*Wood and material science: Which wood is suitable for which project? We will sharpen your eye for the resources that nature offers us right on site.

*Practical outdoor projects: Step by step, you will transform a piece of raw wood into useful gear for your next camp – such as a classic bushcraft spoon, tent pegs, or even a bowl/drinking cup.

This course is specially designed for beginners and kids. It's not about perfection, but about the experience, the focus, and working with your own hands. At the end of the day, you will not only take home your first, handmade, unique piece of wood, but also the proud feeling of having come a little closer to nature...

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
