Description
Explore Bangkok's iconic landmarks on a guided tour with a tuk-tuk ride. Visit the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and Wat Arun, and discover the Giant Swing and the Metal Castle.
Begin your adventure at the Grand Palace, an architectural masterpiece that once served as the royal residence of the Chakri Dynasty. Inside the complex, admire the Emerald Buddha, the most sacred and important Buddha image in Thailand.
Continue to Wat Pho, home to the Reclining Buddha, one of the largest Buddha statues in Thailand. Many of the Buddha images housed here were brought from abandoned temples in Ayutthaya and Sukhothai by order of King Rama I.
Next, visit Wat Arun, one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks.
Continue your journey by tuk-tuk through Bangkok’s historic districts, passing Pak Khlong Talat, Thailand’s largest wholesale flower market, and the Giant Swing (Sao Chingcha), a historic religious structure once used in ancient Brahmin ceremonies and one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks.
Then head to Loha Prasat, also known as the “Metal Castle,” built in 1846 during the reign of King Rama III and inspired by architectural designs from India and Sri Lanka.
Finally, explore Chinatown (Yaowarat), one of the largest and most vibrant Chinatowns in the world, and one of the city’s oldest districts, known for its rich cultural heritage and authentic atmosphere.
