Nex,t hed to the temple of meditation, Wat Pha Lat, in the middle of the jungle. This lost enclosure inside the Doi Suthep National Park was formerly used as a resting point for pilgrims. Now monks live in it and you will walk through its enclosure, see its buildings, meditation rooms, river, and can also talk to monks.
Ride up the mountain to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple, the most important, well known, and spectacular temple in Chiang Mai. Located at the top of the Doi Suthep National Park, see its famous golden pagoda and enjoy a viewpoint that overlooks Chiang Mai city.
At Huai Tung Tao, enjoy your delicious Thai lunch by the lake. This immense lake is surrounded by bamboo houses and it is where many locals go to spend the day on the weekends.
