MV Wave Rider departs from our private pier just north of Khao Lak, giving you the fastest and most efficient access to the Similan Islands and surrounding dive sites. From the moment you step onboard, the focus is on maximizing your time underwater while keeping the journey smooth, comfortable, and well-organized.
Your day begins with hotel pickup between approximately 07:00–08:30 (depending on your hotel location), followed by transfer to the pier for check-in, gear setup, and a detailed safety briefing from your professional dive team. Once ready, you’ll head out across the Andaman Sea for a full day of diving designed exclusively for certified divers.
With 2 guided dives planned at the best available sites, you’ll explore crystal-clear waters, granite formations, and thriving coral ecosystems teeming with marine life. On selected days, the itinerary may extend to the world-famous Richelieu Rock for an even more iconic diving experience.
After a rewarding day underwater, you’ll cruise back to the pier north of Khao Lak, where transfers will return you comfortably to your hotel—arriving in time to relax and enjoy the evening, often just in time for sunset.

15 liters tank, Nitrox tank, dive computers, and underwater cameras are available as optional extras.
Groups are limited to a maximum of 4 divers per guide.
Marine life sightings cannot be guaranteed.
We recommend waiting at least 18 hours before flying after your final dive.
Itineraries, departure times, and dive locations may be adjusted due to weather, safety, or operational requirements.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
