Description

Depart from Khao Lak on a 2-day guided trip to the Khao Sok National Park. Lightly trek through the jungle to the lake and check-in at your basic private room before enjoying a sunset safari tour.
Day 1

In the morning, get picked up from any address in Khao Lak, and head to Khao Sok National Park. Stop for capturing photos of morning mist and lush evergreen forest of Khao Sok Viewpoint. Continue driving to Khao Sok Lake or known as “Chiew Lan Lake”, board a private boat, have a sightseeing along the way. Stop at one of the lake’s most scenic spots because of it’s breathtaking limestone cliffs. Take a minute, take a photo, or even take a swim right off the boat. Arrive Klong Ka for taking an easy jungle walk (1.5 km.) on the trail of Khao Sok Lake, including the valleys and ridges of the jungle. Our knowledgeable guide helps you get acquainted with flora & fauna while trekking through the rainforest. Visit Diamond Cave to see beauty of stalagmites and stalagtites inside the cave. Have lunch at the raft house with boast breathtaking settings of the area.

Continue boat journey to deeper of the lake, arrive to Klong Mon Ranger Station. Check in and register, get a room at the lake side, no air-con, no luxury villa, just a simple private room with pillows, mattress and blankets, with shared toilets and bathrooms outside.

Time of hi-lights, late afternoon, board a boat for sunset safari for wildlife watching and get a great chance to see animals foraging. The areas you have chances to see ; Wild elephants, Indian Bisons, Wild Boars, Barking Deers, Dusky Langurs, Great Hornbills, lots of birds, reptiles, Civets, Gibbons and other species that they run free in the wild. Our guide and boat man will help you to spot them. Enjoy sunset moment in the nature. Back to the house for dinner and spend the night under the stars and enjoy the sound of nature in this truly unique place.

Day 2

Wake up for coffee. Get prepared for another wildlife safari by boat. Morning hours are the best chance for wildlife sighting along the shore, as many animals come down to the lake to get water and food from trees close to the Lake. Enjoy sighting beautiful scenery of sunrise behind the mountain peaks over the jungle.

Back to the raft house for just simply relax, swim to beat the heat, or kayak by yourselves to explore the area. Have lunch and pack up, board a boat back to the pier in the late afternoon. Get on the coach and drive to Khao Lak.

Cancellations

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 48 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 48 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
