Experience the magic of Jiufen with a red lantern blessing ritual. Choose a lantern that represents your wish, perform a blessing ritual, and hang your wish on the blessing wall.
Stroll through the historical mountain city of Jiufen with a lantern in hand, praying for good luck throughout the year. Choose your preferred lantern and personally take it to the incense burner in front of the Jiufen Gold Ecological Park's wishing lantern area to perform the blessing ritual. Walk clockwise around the incense burner three times. After being blessed by the local deities, take it back home, symbolizing carrying good luck with you.
There are four types of wishing lanterns, each representing different fortunes: pink for love, yellow for wealth, orange for peace, and blue for career.
After writing down your wish, bring it to the blessing area to pass it through the incense burner with the lanterns. Then, hang it on the blessing wall for the deity to help fulfill your wish.

The blessing area is located in front of the Jiufen Gold Ecological Park along Jiufen Old Street.
It's about a 5-minute walk from the exchange counter.
After completing the blessing ritual, don't forget to take photos to commemorate the experience.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
