Arusha: 9-Day Photographic Camping Safari

Embark on a 9-day photographic camping safari in Tanzania. Explore Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, and Lake Eyasi, capturing stunning landscapes and wildlife.
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, your guide will meet you and transfer you to Arusha. Relax, prepare your gear, and enjoy your first night in Tanzania at a campsite.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants, baobab trees, and wide landscapes. Enjoy game drives and capture wildlife in golden evening light. Overnight at a campsite inside the park.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara
Continue to Lake Manyara National Park. This small but scenic park is home to tree-climbing lions, baboons, and flamingos along the lake shore. Spend the night at a campsite near the park.

Day 4: Manyara to Serengeti (Central)
Travel through Ngorongoro highlands, stopping for photos at the crater viewpoint before entering Serengeti. Afternoon game drive on the way to Seronera, the heart of the park. Camp overnight in Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti Full Day
Spend the whole day exploring Serengeti. Depending on the season, focus on the migration or the resident wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Serengeti’s endless plains and magical light are a dream for photographers.

Day 6: Serengeti Exploration
Another day in Serengeti gives you more time to follow the migration herds or capture big cats in action. Whether in the north near the Mara River or in the south during calving, this day is dedicated to unforgettable photographic moments.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy a morning drive in Serengeti before heading to Ngorongoro. Arrive at the crater rim in the afternoon for spectacular views and an overnight stay at Simba Campsite.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Lake Eyasi
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive with chances to photograph black rhinos, hippos, and flamingos. Later, continue to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Camp overnight at Lake Eyasi.

Day 9: Lake Eyasi to Arusha
Early morning visit with the Hadzabe Bushmen, photographing their traditional hunting lifestyle. Afterward, drive back to Arusha where the safari ends. Airport transfer included.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
