Day 1: Arrival - Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, meet your safari guide who will pick you up and start your trip to Arusha city. While driving to Arusha, if the weather is clear, have a chance to have a view of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa.

If time allows, depending on your arrival time, your safari guide will take you for an Arusha town tour where you will experience the Arusha people culture. Visit the Central market, Maasai market, National Natural history museum, and Cultura heritage. After the tour, your guide will take you to a hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Momella Gate to Miriakamba Hut (2,500m)
Your adventure begins at the Momella Gate, where you'll embark on a gradual ascent through lush rainforest. As you climb, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. Miriakamba Hut, your first overnight stop, offers a comfortable base to rest and prepare for the days ahead.

Day 3: Miriakamba Hut to Saddle Hut (3,500m)
The trail steepens as you ascend towards the Saddle Hut. The vegetation changes dramatically, transitioning from rainforest to moorland and eventually alpine desert. As you gain altitude, the panoramic views of the surrounding peaks become increasingly breathtaking.

Day 4: Saddle Hut to Summit (4,566m) and Descent to Miriakamba Hut
This is the most challenging day of the trek. Start your summit attempt before dawn, ascending through the scree slope to the summit. The final push to the peak is demanding, but the reward is unparalleled: a panoramic view of the surrounding landscape, including Mount Kilimanjaro. After conquering the summit, descend back to Miriakamba Hut.

Day 5: Miriakamba Hut to Momella Gate - Arusha
The final day involves a steady descent through the forest, leading to Momella Gate and the end of your Mount Meru adventure. As you descend, have the opportunity to reflect on the incredible journey you've completed.
