From Moshi, head directly to Kilimanjaro National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the iconic Mount Kilimanjaro. Rising impressively at 5,895 meters above sea level, this "Roof of Africa" is a testament to nature's majesty and boasts three distinct volcanic centers: Shira, Mawenzi, and snow-capped Kibo.

Upon arrival at the park gate, check in and begin your guided hike through the lush, enchanting jungle. Witness the park's diverse landscapes, unique native flora, and abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for playful monkeys frolicking in the trees and listen for the melodic songs of a variety of bird species. The forest is also home to a wider variety of wildlife, including elephants, leopards, buffalo, sandpipers, the endangered Abbott's duiker, smaller antelopes, primates, and rodents.

After lunch, continue your trek to the breathtaking Maundi Crater. Here, you'll be rewarded with incredible panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes, offering a truly awe-inspiring perspective on the majesty of Kilimanjaro. After soaking in the stunning views, begin the 2-hour descent to Marangu Gate. Your comfortable minibus will be waiting to pick you up and return you to your accommodation in Arusha in the evening.
