4-Day Tarangire, Serengeti, & Ngorongoro Safari

Embark on a 4-day safari from Arusha to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Spot elephants, lions, and more, and enjoy comfortable accommodations and meals.
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a game drive in Tarangire, with sightings of elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, and possibly leopards.

Have a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue with an afternoon game drive along the Tarangire River. In the evening, drive to your lodge or tented camp near Tarangire or in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, drive towards the Serengeti via the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Stop en route for a picnic lunch or visit a Maasai village (optional).

Enter Serengeti through the Naabi Hill Gate and begin game drives en route to your camp. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in central Serengeti for sunset viewing and dinner.

Day 3: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Choose to take an optional hot air balloon safari or early morning game drive to catch predators in action. Have brunch at the camp followed by a final Serengeti game drive as you exit the park.

Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a scenic stop at a viewpoint. Spend the night at a lodge on the Ngorongoro crater rim or nearby.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a high concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
