Explore the most renowned parks and wildlife within Northern Tanzania. Journey through Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti Park and finally, visit the majestic Ngorongoro Crater.
Day 1: At 8:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Tarangire National Park, known for its diverse landscape and ancient baobab trees. The park features nine vegetation zones and a diverse river with wildlife like birds, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and elephants. The lunch area at the Matete Picnic site offers stunning views and a chance to see a hunt. Day 2: After having breakfast from 7:00 to 7:30 AM, you will leave for Lake Manyara National Park. The park will offer a full-day game drive to see the great acacia forest, giant figs, mahogany trees, baboons, blue monkeys, giraffes, elephants, impalas, buffaloes, and hippos. The park also features flamingos and giraffes. Additional tours include a bike tour or boat excursion. Lunch is served at a picnic site from 1:00 to 2:00 PM then a short game drive followed by dinner at the camp. Day 3: After an early breakfast (6:30 am) depart towards the Serengeti National Park. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a quick stop at Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint. This will be an unforgettable moment. As you progress well into the Serengeti, you will see why the name means, in Swahili, 'endless plains'. The park has 6,900 miles of endless plains. It is the home of the Great Migration of 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and antelopes including the abundant impalas. As for large predators, it consist of lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. Enjoy your lunch in the wilderness while floating in the sea of grasses. Overnight, campfire and dinner await at the lodge. Day 4: You'll spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park. We are completely flexible with your preferences and this day will be organized according to your wishes. On every day of the safari, your guide will discuss with you the best timings for you, including the game drives and the wake-up time. For example, on this day, you could do a morning game drive, return to the camp for lunch and relaxation, and finish with an afternoon game drive, or you could do a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. Day 5: We recommend waking up at 5:30 am to go on an early morning game drive, and enjoy one of the most breathtaking sunrise then head back to the camp for brunch before visiting Ngorongoro, the eighth wonder of nature which is home to nearly all of East Africa's native fauna including black rhino. The crater features a forest, a river, many marshes, and a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos. Day 6: We will begin the day early and make our way down into the crater for an amazing morning of wildlife. Following the game drive, a picnic lunch will be enjoyed close to the stunning Hippo Spring from 1:00 to 2:00 PM then have time for a quick wildlife drive. After lunch, leave the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Arusha. We anticipate returning to Arusha at 5:00 PM but we are adaptable in case there is an urgent flight to catch or an unforeseen circumstance.
