Day 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Ngorongoro
Fly from Zanzibar to Arusha, where you’ll meet your safari guide and begin your journey to Ngorongoro. Drive through the Great Rift Valley highlands and arrive at the crater rim. Check in at Ngorongoro Tortilis Camp, your home for the night, and enjoy dinner under the stars with breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness.
Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a full-day safari. Encounter diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and flamingos. A picnic lunch will be served on the crater floor before continuing your game drive. In the evening, return to the rim and check into Ngorongoro Lodge, where you’ll enjoy a warm dinner and overnight stay in comfort.
Day 3: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Zanzibar
Wake up to a scenic sunrise and hearty breakfast at the lodge. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy a short crater rim activity before transferring back to Arusha. Board your flight to Zanzibar, where your 3-day Ngorongoro safari adventure comes to an end.
