From Arusha: 4-Day Serengeti and Ngorongoro Safari

Embark on a 4-day safari to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Parks. See the Big Five and other animals on game drives, and learn about the Maasai tribe at a village.
Embark on a 4-day safari tour of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater with accommodation in a mid-range lodge. Explore the famous north circuit parks, including the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park, and see a variety of wildlife.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Start your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Arusha. Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for the abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country.

Enjoy a game drive through the park, and stop at the Tarangire River picnic site to enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. After lunch, continue with the game drive and exit the park around 4:30 PM. Head to your accommodation in Mto Wa Mbu at your lodge.

Day 2: Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti, which takes 6 hours, including all stops. Stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of the crater. Visit a Maasai village to explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions and hunting lions to be considered a warrior.

Arrive in the late afternoon and after taking lunch, go on a game drive in Seronera to late evening. Experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals. Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Wake up early in the morning for morning game viewing in the heart of Serengeti National Park. Enjoy the morning beautiful sunrise and continue with the game drive until midday. Drive back to camp for a full breakfast and lunch, then leave the camp for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Have a game drive en route towards Ngorongoro Ang’ata Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to the descending gate and drive down the crater floor 650 meters deep for a half-game crater tour. If you are lucky, you can see rhinoceros. After lunch, ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
