Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart early from Arusha or your lodge and drive approximately 2 to 3 hours to Tarangire National Park. Spend the midday and afternoon on an exciting full-day game drive, spotting large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and a variety of wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffalo. By evening, head to your accommodation near Lake Manyara or Karatu for a restful overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, set out for Lake Manyara National Park, just about an hour’s drive away. Spend the midday hours on a game drive through this unique ecosystem, famous for its tree-climbing lions, hippos, flamingos, baboons, and a wide variety of bird species. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at a picnic spot or lodge, then choose to relax, take a guided nature walk, or visit the nearby Mto wa Mbu village for a cultural experience. In the evening, retire for the night at your accommodation near Ngorongoro, either in Karatu or the Ngorongoro Highlands.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Start early with breakfast before descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Experience incredible wildlife sightings including the Big Five—lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo, and leopards along with hippos, flamingos, and numerous antelope species within the crater’s rich and diverse environment. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and make your way back to Arusha or continue on to your next destination.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
