Embark on a 4-day private lodge safari in Tanzania, exploring the Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a personalized and exclusive wildlife tour through the country's national parks and game reserves.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After a short briefing in the morning, head off in the direction of the Tarangire National Park. The park with its savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps, and lagoons is home to huge elephant herds. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River and you should see a selection of mammals ranging from giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests to the weird-looking gerenuk and fringe-eared oryx.
The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari vehicle, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon, arrive at the lodge.
Day 2: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti which takes 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Briefly stop at the gate and viewpoint to look at the breathtaking view of Ngorongoro Crater.
Visit a Maasai village. It is optional to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai tribe known for chasing lions of their kill and hunting lions to be considered a warrior, drinking raw animal blood though these traditions are a thing of the past except drinking blood you can surely learn something.
Arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) to late evening and experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of wild animals lucky enough to see a predator hunting or on a kill.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, go on an early game drive seeing a lot of animals till afternoon where you will head to the lodge for lunch and packing doing a game drive. At the same time, exit the Serengeti heading to the lodge (3 hour's drive) and near Ngorongoro gate.
