3 days
Description
The 3-Day Kilimanjaro Adventure on the Marangu Route offers a shorter, scenic trek through Kilimanjaro's lower slopes, known for its easier gradient and comfortable hut stays.
Overview:
The Marangu Route is one of the most popular routes to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, often called the "Coca-Cola Route" due to its relatively easier gradient and hut accommodations. This 3-day trek covers the first part of the journey, offering a scenic experience through diverse landscapes, from rainforests to alpine meadows. It is ideal for trekkers looking for a short yet thrilling adventure to experience the beauty of Kilimanjaro without reaching the summit. You will experience the rich biodiversity of the lower slopes while enjoying the comfort of sleeping in huts rather than camping in tents.

Day 1:
Arrival and Transfer to Marangu Gate - Trek to Mandara Hut
Your adventure begins in the morning after breakfast, with a drive from Moshi to the Marangu Gate (about 45 km, approximately 1 hour). Upon arrival at the gate, you will complete registration formalities. Your guide will provide a briefing about the trek, ensuring that you are well-prepared.
The trek starts by passing through dense rainforest at the base of Kilimanjaro.
