Embark on a 6-day trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route, and follow it up with a 2-day safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Stay in huts on the mountain and enjoy game drives in the national parks.

The Marangu route, often referred to as the 'Coca Cola' route, is the most traditional and oldest pathway to ascend Mount Kilimanjaro. This route uniquely offers hikers the opportunity to stay in rustic huts rather than tents, making it a preferable option during the rainy season. The climb is characterized by a steady and moderate incline, although the final stretch to Uhuru Peak presents significant challenges. Notably, this route is utilized for both the ascent and descent.

Following the Kilimanjaro trek, embark on a 2-day safari in Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Pickup from your hotel will occur at 8 AM, leading you to a remarkable national park. Tarangire is renowned for its varied landscapes, which encompass nine distinct vegetation zones. The park is particularly famous for its ancient Baobab trees, the largest on the continent, which dominate the scenery and dwarf the wildlife around them. The river within the park teems with diverse wildlife, including a wide array of birds, lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, and notably, elephants. Tarangire boasts the highest concentration of elephants in the country, offering exceptional opportunities to observe the dynamics of elephant families. The lunch area features an observatory with stunning views of the river and wildlife, providing a chance to witness a hunt during your picnic. In the afternoon, a game drive will be conducted before proceeding to your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater is regarded as one of the natural wonders of the world. Spanning 102 square miles with walls rising 2,000 feet, it serves as a veritable Noah's Ark, housing nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa. It is one of the few places on the continent where the black rhino can be observed. The concentration of African wildlife here is unparalleled. The crater features a river, several swamps, a soda lake populated by flamingos, forests, and open plains. It is also famous for its elephants, which are the largest in the world and possess impressive tusks.
