Description
Embark on a 3-day safari adventure from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park. Travel by ferry, train, and car, and enjoy a full-day safari with a local guide.
Begin your adventure with a morning ferry ride from Zanzibar to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, head to the train station for a scenic express train journey to Morogoro. From there, transfer by car to Mikumi National Park.
Arrive at Mikumi National Park in the afternoon. Enjoy lunch at your hotel, followed by a cultural visit to a Maasai village. Spend the night at a lodge.
On the second day, embark on a full-day safari. Set out early in the morning, the best time to spot lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife up close. Enjoy breakfast in the heart of the savannah.
After breakfast, continue your safari. Have lunch at a hotel located in the heart of the national park. After a short break, resume your safari. In the afternoon, observe hippos and crocodiles as they bask in the sun. End the day with a late afternoon safari. Spend the night at a hotel in Morogoro.
On the third day, take an early morning train back to Dar es Salaam, followed by a ferry ride back to Zanzibar.
