Description

Climb Mount Meru on a 4-day guided trek. Experience diverse landscapes, spot wildlife, and enjoy the safety of an armed park ranger.
Embark on a 4-day, 3-night adventure to climb Mount Meru, the fifth highest mountain in Africa and the second highest in Tanzania. Begin your journey in the dry forest of the lower region, which gives way to a dense mountain rainforest, then turns into scrubland. As you ascend, the vegetation changes to heath and moorland, and finally to stunning barren alpine deserts.

As the flora changes, so does the wildlife. Encounter large game such as elephants and buffalos, and possibly even leopards. Due to the presence of wildlife, it is obligatory to be accompanied by an armed park ranger on your ascent.

Reach the summit at 4,566 meters and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. This challenging climb offers a unique opportunity to experience the diverse ecosystems and wildlife of Mount Meru.
