Description

Escape from the crowds of Arusha city and admire its incredible views. The tour takes you through a vibrant greenery landscape and local farms of coffee and banana plantation.
Napuru Waterfalls (also known as the Mount Meru Waterfall) is a stunning natural attraction located on the lush, southern slopes of Mount Meru near Olgilai Village. Perched just a short distance roughly 11 kilometers north of downtown Arusha, it serves as a popular, less-crowded alternative to other regional treks. The site features a dramatic 78-meter cascade hidden within a deep, tropical forest gorge.
The trek to the waterfall offers a beautiful look at the region's volcanic landscape and local rural life.
Hikers pass directly through traditional Meru villages, active banana and coffee farms (shambas), and the dense canopy of the Mount Meru Forest Reserve.

The hike to Napuru is moderate and led by an experienced guide who will point out interesting plants and wildlife along the way. Once you reach the falls, you can relax by the water, take photos of the cascading stream, and soak in the tranquility of the forest. The site is far less crowded than some of the more well-known falls, making it a perfect spot for those who want a more private and authentic nature experience. You will enjoy a packed lunch in this beautiful setting before heading back. This tour is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoor beauty of Arusha and discover a peaceful corner of the mountain.
