Track the Great Migration and Big Five across Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti on a thrilling 8-day adventure.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hrs). Enjoy a full-day game drive in a landscape of baobab trees and riverbeds teeming with elephants, lions, and giraffes.
Overnight: Farm of Dream Lodge or similar
Day 2: Tarangire to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro highlands into Serengeti National Park (6–7 hrs with game drives en route). Explore the Seronera region, rich in resident wildlife and big cats.
Overnight: Kubukubu Lodge or similar
Day 3: Central to Northern Serengeti (Mara River)
Travel north to Kogatende (approx. 5–6 hrs), the heart of the Great Migration from July to October. Afternoon game drive along the Mara River searching for dramatic river crossings and predators.
Overnight: Mara Mara Tented Lodge or similar
Day 4: Full Day in Northern Serengeti
Spend the full day exploring Northern Serengeti. Track massive herds of wildebeest and zebras and witness potential river crossings. Optionally enjoy a balloon safari.
Overnight: Same as Day 3
Day 5: Northern to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, drive south back to Central Serengeti with game viewing en route. Spot resident wildlife such as lions, cheetahs, and elephants across the plains.
Overnight: Kubukubu Lodge or similar
Day 6: Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a final Serengeti game drive. Pass through Naabi Hill and arrive at the crater rim for a scenic overnight stay.
Overnight: Naserian Safari Camp or similar
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour & Overnight in Karatu
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari. Spot the Big Five in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, drive to Karatu in the highlands for overnight.
Overnight: Marera Valley Lodge or similar
Day 8: Hadzabe Tribe Visit & Return to Arusha
Drive early to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe tribe. Join a morning hunt, observe traditional fire-making, and optionally visit the Datoga blacksmiths. After lunch, return to Arusha by late afternoon.

To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
