Day 1: Begin your journey from Moshi to Marangu Gate, where registration and permits will be arranged. Trek through a lush rainforest, spotting Colobus monkeys and various bird species along the way. Reach Mandara Hut after an 8 km hike, with an optional walk to Maundi Crater for panoramic views. Dinner and overnight stay at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: After breakfast, continue your trek through moorland towards Horombo Hut. Enjoy stunning views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks as you ascend. Rest, hydrate, and acclimatize upon arrival at Horombo Hut. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Trek towards Kibo Hut through the saddle desert between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. Rest before an early dinner in preparation for the summit attempt. Begin the final ascent to Uhuru Peak at midnight.

Day 4: Start the summit push at midnight, reaching Gilman’s Point before reaching Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Descend back to Kibo Hut and continue down to Marangu Gate. Receive your summit certificate before being transferred back to Moshi, concluding your Kilimanjaro adventure.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
