11:30AM Temple:Mahathat in Ayutthaya(1 hour)built around the 14th century, was a major religious center housing sacred relics. Today, it’s famous for the Buddha head entwined in tree roots, an iconic symbol of the city.


12:40pm Wat Ratchaburana (1hour)in Ayutthaya was built in the 15th century during the reign of King Borommarachathirat II (Chao Sam Phraya) in memory of his two elder brothers. Its highlights include a magnificent main prang that remains well preserved, and a crypt beneath the prang where priceless treasures such as gold and royal artifacts were once discovered.

13:40 pm Wat Lokayasutharam (1hour)in Ayutthaya is an ancient temple within the Historical Park, believed to date back to the mid-Ayutthaya period, with its builder unknown. Once a large temple complex, it now remains in ruins with only a chedi and monastery base. Its highlight is a massive outdoor reclining Buddha, a popular photo spot, which has also been restored to help preserve its structure and historical value.

14:40 pm Ayothaya Floating Market(1hour) was created as a cultural tourism attraction inspired by the glorious past of Ayutthaya. It reflects traditional Thai riverside life through recreated Thai-style houses, local architecture, and vintage costumes.

15:40pm wat Yai Chai Mongkhon (1hour)in Ayutthaya was built in the 14th century during the reign of King Ramathibodi I (King U-Thong). Originally named Wat Pa Kaew, it served as a residence for monks ordained from Sri Lanka. Later, King Naresuan the Great constructed the Chedi Chai Mongkhon to celebrate a military victory. Today, it is a major temple known for its large chedi visible from afar.
