A comprehensive time trip to Cold War times guided by those who have experienced it and survived.
At the beginning of this walking tour, you will be given a comprehensive introduction into history and theory of socialism/ communism. You will learn about its rise in the 19th century and how it has spread to Central/ Eastern Europe. 

Within approximately 2-hours, this tour will take you to the most important places related to the history of Communism in Prague, which has always been a capital city of former Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic. You will see the former secret communist police headquarters, former spot of the Stalin statue, current and former seat of the Communist party, places of protests, demonstrations, rebellions, revolutions and Soviet occupation. Some areas still breathe of depression till this day. 

Besides lecturing on about the most important personalities, dates and milestones of the communist history, the Cold War survivors (local guides) will describe to you in detail how the common life looked like during this era. You will also learn about all the advantages as well as disadvantages, both pros and cons. Discussions and questions are more than welcome.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
