Your excursion begins with a pick-up at 6:00 AM from your hotel or accommodation in Djerba or Zarzis. Travel in comfort by 4x4 or SUV, in a small group, to enjoy an authentic, friendly, and flexible experience.

Cross the famous Roman road connecting Djerba to the mainland, then make your first stop in Toujane, a charming Berber mountain village renowned for its traditional architecture, honey, and local crafts.

Continue to Matmata to discover the iconic Sidi Driss troglodyte hotel, made famous by Star Wars: A New Hope. You will also have the opportunity to meet a Berber family in their traditional underground house and share an authentic moment over rosemary tea, homemade bread, honey and olive oil.

Then, continue your adventure to Ksar Ghilane, a secluded oasis at the gate of the Sahara. Enjoy some relaxing time soaking in the natural hot springs surrounded by palm trees and marvel at the beautiful desert dunes.

If you have chosen the "Dromedary included" option, then enjoy a dromedary ride in the dunes of Ksar Ghilane. If you have chosen the option without a camel, you have free time to enjoy the oasis and its surroundings.

Lunch will be served at a campsite in the heart of the desert, with a magnificent view of the Sahara dunes.

On the way back, pass through Beni Khedach and discover its panoramic landscapes before returning to Djerba or Zarzis at the end of the day.
