Day 1: Tunis ➜ Matmata ➜ Chenini ➜ Tataouine

Begin your journey with an early morning departure from Tunis, heading towards Matmata. After a 6.5-hour drive, arrive at the underground troglodyte hotel, Hotel Sidi Driss, used as the Lars family home in "A New Hope" and "Attack of the Clones." Explore multiple chambers still decorated with Star Wars set pieces.

Next, drive to Chenini, an ancient Berber village perched on a ridge. Though not a filming site, the landscapes strongly influenced Star Wars world-building. Visit the hilltop granaries, old mosque, and panoramic viewpoints, noting that some walking and climbing may be required.

Continue to Tataouine town and check in for the night. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in Tataouine or a nearby ksar lodge.

Day 2: Tataouine ➜ Ksar Ouled Soltane ➜ Bouhlel Canyon ➜ Tunis

Start your day with a visit to Ksar Ouled Soltane, a spectacular multi-level granary used as Anakin Skywalker’s slave quarters in "Episode I: The Phantom Menace."

Next, drive to Bouhlel Canyon, near the town of Degache, in the Tozeur region. Explore the filming site for multiple iconic Tatooine moments, including Tusken Raider attack scenes, parts of the Podracing sequences, and desert wandering scenes. Enjoy short hikes and panoramic photos.

Begin your return drive to Tunis, with an estimated 5.5-6 hours, ensuring a well-organized schedule that keeps travelers eager and confident about the trip's flow.
