Entebbe: 9-Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking & Tanzania Safari

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, located in southwestern Uganda. The drive takes approximately 9 hours, you will have an equator experience and Lunch stopover in Mbarara.

Day 2: Morning Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest & Evening Community Walk
After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for registration and a briefing on gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. Then embark on your gorilla trekking adventure in the dense Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you will have the chance to observe the endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After trekking, enjoy a community walk to learn about the local culture. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer Back to Entebbe Airport for Evening Flight to Arusha, Tanzania
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport for your evening flight to Arusha, Tanzania. Dinner and overnight in Arusha.

Day 4: Transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, enjoy a lunch break and then head for an afternoon game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. Known for its rich wildlife, the crater is one of the best places to see the Big Five in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Full Day Game Viewing in Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is home to a large concentration of wildlife, including lions, black rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, and wildebeest. Visit Lake Magadi to see flamingos and other birds. Enjoy lunch in the park and continue the game drive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head to Serengeti National Park, famous for its diverse wildlife and the annual wildebeest migration. Visit the UNESCO Olduvai Gorge, where you will learn about human evolution. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Serengeti.

Day 7: Full Day Game Viewing in Serengeti National Park
Serengeti offers fantastic game viewing, home to the Big Five, wildebeest, zebras, and many bird species. The day begins with an early morning game drive and continues through the afternoon, with a lunch stop. After lunch, resume the game drive to spot even more wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, transfer to Tarangire National Park (2 hours from Serengeti). Known for its large herds of elephants (over 3,000), Lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge.

Day 9: Departure and Fly Back via Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive in Tarangire before heading to Kilimanjaro Airport for your return flight. The safari ends as you board your flight back home.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
