This 16-day safari is for those who have more time to explore and discover Uganda, also known as ‘The Pearl of Africa’. This safari takes you through Uganda’s four amazing Savannah parks.
This 16-day safari is for those who have more time to explore and discover Uganda, also known as ‘The Pearl of Africa’. This safari takes you through Uganda’s four Savannah parks Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park in southwestern Uganda. It offers you a chance for game drives and boat cruises.


Below is the Itinerary:

Day 1:
You will be driving to Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the endangered White Rhinos, thereafter, proceed to Budongo Forest, located in the Murchison Falls National Park Conservation area. (Approximately 4-5 hours drive).

Day 2:
After breakfast, you will do Chimpanzee trekking in the Budongo Forest guided by well-trained and experienced ranger guides. You will drive to Murchison Falls National Park for a brief game drive in the afternoon. (Approximately 1-2 hours drive).

DAY 3:
You will do an early morning game drive and an afternoon hike to the top of waterfalls for sightseeing.

Day 4:
After an early breakfast, you will return to the northern bank of the River Nile for yet another game drive in search of some of the wild animals that you could have missed seeing during your previous game drives. Return to the lodge for lunch and thereafter go for an afternoon boat trip to the bottom of the waterfalls.

Day 5:
After breakfast, you will drive to Hoima town for a cultural experience and learn more about the cultures of the local people in this area. (Approximately 2-3 hours’ drive).

Day 6:
You will drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal town, you will just relax this afternoon. (Approximately 3-4 hours’ drive).

Day 7:
After breakfast, you will do Chimpanzee trekking in the morning and cultural walks in the afternoon.

Day 8:
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will do an afternoon game drive in Mweya. (Approximately 3-4 hours’ drive).

Day 9:
After an early morning cup of coffee, you will do a morning game drive and an afternoon boat cruise in the Kazinga channel.

Day 10:
After breakfast, you will be driven to Kyambura to join other trekkers for briefing and their after start your chimpanzee walk in the gorge. Return from the trek for lunch and short relaxation at the lodge before moving out for a visit to Lake Katwe salt mines.

Day 11:
After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, where you will do a cultural experience with the Batwa people. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 12:
After breakfast, you will do gorilla trekking in the morning and relax during the afternoon.

Day 13:
Drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. (Approximately 3-4 hours’ drive).

Day 14:
You are free to admire the beauty of the lake and its surrounding hills. You will have a choice of either taking a canoe ride on the lake to explore the different Islands with exciting histories behind them.

Day 15:
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, you will do an evening game drive. (Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Day 16:
Depending on your flight time, you can have a morning walking Safari or just embark on your journey to Entebbe International Airport. Approximately 5-6 hours’ drive).

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
