Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival and explore Entebbe.
Arrival and pick up from Entebbe airport, you will be welcomed by our tour guide/driver and proceed to the hotel check in.
Entebbe is peaceful area just 40 km south west of Kampala city, it has stunning Lake Victoria shore lines with plenty of admirable beaches, if your flight lands earlier, you can choose to visit one or more of the surrounding sites like the botanical gardens with about 300 different tree species or UWEC zoo for an overview about Uganda, UWEC has asset up of Uganda national parks, this avails you an opportunity to see all the big 5.optional ,you may wish to visit one of the beaches for relaxation .then return to your lodge for overnight stay

Day 2 Lake Mburo National Park
This morning you will be driven southwards to Lake Mburo National Park — the drive of 217km will take between 3-4hrs with a stopover at equator line crossing for a photo shoot and demonstrative experiment along Kampala -Masaka highway.
You will arrive at your lodge in mburo national park, have lunch and relax then continue for an evening game drive for about 2 to 3 hours.
Optional; you can decide to do a night game drive which rewards the most nocturnal animals like leopards, hyenas, genet cats at an added cost.
You will return to your lodge for dinner and a night’s stay.

Day 3 Explore Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will drive out of the park and proceed to for a235km journey of about 5hours to Kigezi region through the (Ugandan Swiss alps). The scenery along Mbarara Kabale road is beautiful, with savannah plains of grazing animals, here you will appreciate the mode of the Ankole cattle farming paddocks scattered along the route, with steep, winding hills, covered in a patchwork quilt of fields and then opening out into flatter plains. Kabale town will welcome you as you emerge from the twisted hills into a vibrant countryside town.
You will head to lodge at lake bunyonyi for your lunch break and stay.
Later you will embark on a boat cruise /canoe ride around the islands of the lake like the punishment island and later return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.
Optional: You will have a chance to visit the local neighborhood of the Bakiga settlers
Bakiga is one of the ethnic groups in Uganda with amazing social life, their means of survival on substance cultivation of terraced hills and the ‘Kashera’ a local nonalcoholic drink made from millet.

Day 4 Gorilla trekking at Bwindi impenetrable Forest National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you shall drive to Bwindi Park in time for a morning briefing about the dos and don’ts then head for gorilla trekking with acknowledgeable ranger, this will take about 2-5hours after meeting with the first family and enjoying the experience, after having lunch parked you shall head a Batwa forest experience, from which you shall drive to the lodge for resting dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park for a morning game drive via the Ishasha sector, the home of the climbing lions, this will avail you the chance to experience other mammals like the elephant’s buffalos and others.
Then check in to your lodge, have lunch then head for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that connects lake George and Lake Edward with herds of buffaloes and elephants. After the boat cruise will head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Optional: night game drive at an extra cost.

Day 6: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park
After a morning breakfast, you will head to Kibale national park via fort portal city the tourism capital of Uganda here we shall have lunch in one of the city restaurants, you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the area as we head to kibale national forest the primate capital of Uganda with 13 primate species making almost 1500 chimpanzees and over 300 bird species. check in to the lodge for a night stay.

Day 7 Chimpanzee trekking at Kibale Forest National Park
After our morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibale national park for a briefing held by a knowledgeable ranger taking us through the dos and don’ts then head for trekking.
Kibale national park is the primate capital of the world with habitants like the red-tailed monkey, mantled guereza, olive baboons lhoests monkey, chimpanzees, the park is home to about 325 different bird species including nahans partridge, black bee eater, green breasted pitta and more, the park is aroma to about 250 different butterfly species.
Chimpanzees are found in smaller groups of about 15 to 150 individuals. The trek usually takes about 2-5hours depending on the location, we shall head back to the lodge for our lunch.
In the afternoon, we shall have a remarkable cultural walk to Bigodi village visit a traditional healer, primary school and home for the elderly men and women for stories of long ego, we shall head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 Drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Murchison falls national park, the home to the world’s powerful waterfall, the park is home to some of the biggest mammals of the land like the African elephant, the lions, the giraffes, hippos and about 451 different bird species including the grey crowned crane, fisher birds, hornbills and more.

Day 9 Game drive at Murchison Falls National Park.
After a morning breakfast at the lodge around 6am we shall head to Buligi game area for a 3-4 hours’ game drive, exploring buffaloes, elephants, lions, hippos, warthogs, hyenas, numerous antelopes as you encounter the amazing savannah birds such as Abyssinian ground hornbills palm nut vultures and more. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
During the afternoon, we head for a boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison falls, you will encounter Nile crocodiles and hippos, with numerous birds like the red throated bee eater along the Nyamusika cliff, you will dock at a distance and experience the amazing Murchison falls as water squeezes through a 7-meter gap then drops down 45 meters to form a devil’s cauldron which makes it the one of the world’s most powerful waterfall.
We shall head back to the lodge for our night.

Day 10 Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will embark on a journey to Kidepo valley national park, via Gulu city a vibrant city north of the country, you will be amazed by the true African Wilderness in northern Uganda and her calm and welcoming citizens.
Kidepo valley National Park, the most remote national park in Uganda located far north in the horn of Uganda bordering South Sudan and Kenya is full of small hilly landscapes, rocky outcrops, and inselbergs, you will view river Narus, wildlife such as Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Jackals among others, the park is also home to numerous bird species like Ostriches, Kori Bustards, Pygmy Falcons among others. After checking in at the lodge you can opt for an optional evening game drive at an extra cost.

Day 11 Kidepo Valley National Park.
Game viewing is key to this park, will encounter large herds of buffaloes, zebras, elephants, giraffes, and antelopes while the big cats tend to be elusive the park gives better chances to spot lions, cheetah, and leopards as they purse their hunting business.
You will visit the Karimojong communities and experience their lifestyle , Karimojong are a group of semi nomadic pastoralists that has stuck to their ancient ways , known for being fierce , their unique culture can be seen in different aspects of their ways of life such as dress code ,local arts ,and crafts ,jewelry , traditional dances , food preparation and the marriage and initiation ceremonies , their houses called the manyattas are made using local material like grass , mud, dung they are enclosed in a fence made of thorny plants to keep animals from roaming out of the fence .
After the community experience you will head back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 12 Drive to Mountain Elgon National Park
After breakfast you will embark onto a journey to your next destination ‘Mt Elgon national park’ explore the eastern region of Uganda with a first stop at Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district, Sipi fall is a series of three waterfalls found at the foothills of mountain Elgon at the edge of mountain Elgon national park near the Kenyan boarder.

Day 13 Mountain Elgon National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you shall head to the park office to be briefed then head for a forest walk this will avail you the chance to watch some of the most beautiful forest birds, the area has about 300 different bird species like tinker birds, moorland francolin, tacazze sunbird, black collared avail and more, the area also have primates like monkeys, it is home to hot springs, Jacksons pool caves, waterfalls bamboo forests and more. After this wonderful experience you shall head back to the hotel for your night’s stay.

Day 14 Source of River Nile Jinja City.
After an early morning breakfast, you drive straight to Jinja city at source of the Nile River, you will check-in to your lodge, have lunch then visit the source of the Nile with a boat cruise. You may wish to go for jinja city tour or relax at your lodge or opt for more activities at the Nile at an extra cost.

Day 15 Drive from Jinja to Entebbe for departure
Depending on your tine of departure, spare some time for the drive back to Entebbe for departure, along the way you will appreciate the culture and ways of life of people along the Jinja- Kampala highway with a stopover for snacks at a popular highway point of delicious barbeque which is a major stopping point of travelers transiting through the eastern route.
After a 2-3 hours’ drive, you will be dropped off at Entebbe airport for departure and this will mark the of end your 15 days Uganda safari.
