4 Days Gorillas and Golden Monkey Safari

This 4-day Uganda safari takes you to Bwindi's impenetrable forest national park and Mgahinga Gorilla national park where you will do Gorilla and Golden monkey trekking.
you will Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park on our 4 Days gorillas and golden monkey safari. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to almost half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas. It is also the only place in the world where wild chimpanzees co-exist with mountain gorillas.

Day 1
Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park:
The guide picks you up at 7:00 a.m. from your hotel. Drive to Mbarara (283km from Kampala) via Masaka. Make the first stopover at the Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Lunch break is made at Agip Motel Mbarara. After lunch, drive to Bwindi. This is the lushest highland rainforest on earth, filled with primates and exotic birds, valleys, hilltops, and papyrus swamps. The afternoon is spent on an optional foot safari around the local communities living around the park. (Approximately 8-9 hours’ drive).

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park:
Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 7:30 a.m. with a briefing. Ensure to carry along with you a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots, etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 to 10 hours but it's well worth the effort.

Day 3
Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga:
After your breakfast, you will drive to Mgahinga National Park for a briefing and then go for your golden monkey trekking. This golden monkey walk will expose you to other attractions in the park before returning back to your hotel overnight.

Day 4
To Kampala or Entebbe International Airport:
After your breakfast, you will be driven to Kampala or Entebbe for your post-tour accommodation or you may choose to fly out of Uganda on this day. You will again have another chance to make a stopover at the Equator crossing in Kayabwe.

Cancellation is not possible. If you cancel it anyway or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity and the money you paid will not be refunded.
