Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Airport Pickup and Transfer to your Hotel in Kampala.
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International airport, Arcadia Safaris driver-guide will be there to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in Kampala for an overnight stay. Time allowing depending on your arrival time, a city tour can be conducted.
Destination: Kampala City

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After your early morning breakfast our driver-guide shall be ready for your adventurous transfer journey to Kibale National Park via Mubende District and having a lunch stop in Fort Portal. You will have a rewarding break at the top of one of the hills where you will have lunch. After this activity drive towards Kibale Forest National Park. You will arrive early evening in time for relaxation, dinner, and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Community Walk
After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest NP headquarters for a briefing before chimpanzee tracking. In groups of up to 8 (or occasionally alone), trek to find chimpanzees and spend an hour observing them. Optionally, join a full-day chimpanzee habituation experience for an extra fee. Return to your lodge for lunch. Kibale, a stunning tropical rainforest, hosts 13 primate species, including red colobus, L’hoest monkeys, and endemic Uganda mangabey, plus elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland for a 1-2 hour community-led walk, spotting monkeys, the Great Blue Turaco, and local women’s projects. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Entebbe for Departure.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
