7:30 AM – Departure from Kampala

Your journey begins with a pick-up from your location in Kampala. Our experienced guide welcomes you aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle as we set off on a scenic drive to Jinja.

Along the way, enjoy the changing landscape—from the bustling city streets to expansive sugarcane plantations and rolling hills. Our guide shares insights into the history, culture, and significance of the places we pass, making the journey as engaging as the destination.

8:30 AM – Stopover at Namawojjolo for a Quick Bite (Optional)

For those who wish, we can stop at the famous Namawojjolo roadside market, known for its delicious roasted chicken, gonja (plantain), and local snacks. This is a perfect opportunity to stretch your legs and experience an authentic Ugandan food moment.

10:00 AM – Arrival in Jinja & Exploration of Busowooko Falls

Upon reaching Jinja, our first stop is the picturesque Busowooko Falls, a hidden gem along the Nile.

3:00 PM – Leisure Time & Additional Activities in Jinja
• Boat Ride to the Source of the Nile – Take a guided tour to the exact point where the Nile starts its 6,650 km journey to the Mediterranean.
• Craft Shopping & Jinja Town Tour – Explore local markets, where you can buy unique souvenirs like handwoven baskets, African fabrics, and wooden carvings.

4:30 PM – Return Journey to Kampala
Enjoy the relaxing ride back, with optional stopovers for refreshments.

7:00 PM – Arrival in Kampala & Drop-off
We arrive back in Kampala, and our guide will drop you off at your preferred location.

This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
