Starting at the iconic Lanyon Building of Queens University and proceed to the Ulster Museum to spend time discovering the history in a holistic way. Then explore the Botanic Gardens and beyond.
Join a local gardener and get a more holistic view of Belfast from its humble beginnings through its troublesome past to its very bright future.
Having discovered the history of the Queens University, we'll enter and explore the Ulster Museum to view exhibited artefacts that help explain not only the history of our troubled past but lots more fascinating facts about this part of the island, of Ireland, in an eclectic manner. We'll then enter into the Botanic Gardens to discover the unique collection of plants and trees from all over the world, that have been collected over the past 200 years. And after discovering its two impressive glass houses The Palm House and Tropical Ravine. We'll then meander on through the Botanic area passing through the Queens University, Quarter, towards the city centre. Into the Linen Quarter discovering the rich history of the area and visiting a couple of hidden gems. Finishing in the grounds of the iconic city hall.
