Discover the tranquility of cruising the historic Charleston Harbor on a genuine tall ship, powered only by the wind in the sails. While this is not a narrated cruise, the crew is happy to answer questions and point out landmarks. You're welcome to help raise and trim the sails or sit back and enjoy the ride.
The Schooner Pride is an 84-foot, three-mast schooner modeled after the classic coastal trading schooners. She is an authentic tall ship and possesses all the character and class of a ship designed during the great days of sail. She is USCG certified to hold up to 49 passengers.
Experience the more natural side of the city, with common sightings of dolphins, pelicans, and other fauna natural to the harbor. Gain a new perspective on the historic 18th and 19th century buildings of Charleston. See the impressive Arthur Ravenel Jr. bridge, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the Western hemisphere.
Marvel at the retiring sun lighting up the sky in a kaleidoscope of colors over one of the oldest cities in the country. Bottled water, soft drinks, beer (craft, domestic and imported), and wine will be available for purchase for your enjoyment during the sail. Although food is not served on board, you are welcome to bring your own snacks to munch on.

The Schooner Pride is docked on the floating dock to the left of SC Aquarium. Closest parking is at the Aquarium garage at 24 Calhoun Street or meters along Charlotte or Concord Streets. Walk towards the Aquarium and then take the walkway to the left towards the water. You'll see the 3 masts of the Schooner Pride once you round the Aquarium.

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
