-This rental takes place rain or shine, except for severe weather (lightning, temperatures above 100℉, etc.).
-You must wear a life jacket at all times.
-Adequate sun protection is highly recommended.
-You may want to take a change of clothes in case you get wet.
-This route includes a shuttle to the kayak put-in point in Shelby Park. You will meet the shuttle and end your paddle at the same location downtown: 2 Victory Ave.
-Cumberland River is a Class 1 flat water commercial waterway and there are no rapids. This route goes one-way, with the flow of the river.
-You are welcome to take refreshments, coolers and ice. No glass containers allowed.
-Gratuities encouraged.
-Rentals are subject to the whims of Metro Parks and Events. Day-of location changes possible. Any possible changes will be communicated to you.
-Pets are allowed but must be on a leash and wear a PFD (personal flotation device) at all times.
Meet our crew and branded shuttle vans at 2 Victory Ave. Look for our mermaid logo, blue and green kayaks, and branded tent next to the "red roller coaster" statue by the Bridge Building near Nissan Stadium. We will then shuttle you to the kayaking start point at the Shelby Park Boat Ramp (late arrivals can meet us there).

When should I book?
To guarantee availability book as soon as possible. Early booking is worth consideration especially if you planning the trip during high season like public holidays or weekends.
Cancellations
This excursion you can cancel with no cost up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. If you cancel it after 24 hours or not show up on the excursion you will still be charged the full price of the activity. Being late on pick-up or departure will be considered as not showing up.
