Description
Discover one of Uruguay's most traditional and internationally renowned wineries.
The winery was built in 1942 by the visionary Numa Pesquera. It is similar to the French chateaux. This family already handled the concept of “fine wine” then, an innovative idea for Uruguayan wines. It was restored in 2002, keeping its original structure.
In Bodega Bouza, in addition to the guided tour around the winery and the various vineyards, you will have the chance to appreciate the family´s great collection of vintage cars, which is displayed in the large museum and that comprises more than 30 cars and motorcycles from the 1920s on that are characteristic of life in Uruguay from the 30s on.
