Description
Immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture with a conical hat painting workshop in Ho Chi Minh City. Learn about the nón lá's significance and create your own design to take home.
Begin by learning the cultural significance of the nón lá, a symbol of elegance and practicality in Vietnamese life. Your local guide—an experienced artisan—will introduce you to the history and uses of the conical hat, and how it is made from palm leaves, bamboo, and dedication.
After the introduction, unleash your creativity. Using natural colors and inspiration from Vietnamese landscapes, traditional patterns, flowers, and calligraphy, paint your very own conical hat.
No previous painting experience is required—just bring your imagination and a love for culture. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple, or a family with kids, this workshop offers a joyful and memorable way to connect with Vietnam’s heritage.
By the end of the session, take home a fully painted nón lá—a special souvenir that’s both meaningful and made by you.
