Start your day with pickup from your hotel in Praia. Drive for around 1 hour to the starting point of the hike at the Serra Malagueta National Park.

Begin your hike from 615 meters above sea level. Throughout the walk, take in stunning views of the green valley and small traditional houses. Admire an arrangement of vegetable and fruit trees such as mango, cassava, banana, sugar cane, and sweet potato.

After 1 hour of hiking, arrive at the locality of Mato Dento. Have the opportunity to meet locals and experience the rural lifestyle. At the end of the route, pass by the Principal Dam built to help local families in irrigated agriculture.
