Description

Reach 2,900 meters on Mount Etna by all-terrain vehicle and hike among lava and craters. Spectacular views and lunar landscapes make for a unique experience.
Starting from Piano Provenzana, you will board powerful off-road vehicles and travel through lunar-like landscapes made up of solidified lava and volcanic sand, following the spectacular fracture from the 2002 eruption.

Once you reach an altitude of 9,318 feet at the Pizzi Deneri Volcanological Observatory, the most exciting part of the tour will begin: a hike among volcanic slag and bombs, surrounded by a landscape unlike any other in the world.

After a climb of about 300 meters, you will reach an altitude of 2,900 meters, where an extraordinary panorama awaits: the Bove Valley, the Leone Valley, and the majestic summit craters will unfold before your eyes.

An intense and authentic experience, perfect for those who want to discover Etna’s wildest and most powerful side.
