The Tianyi Postal Bureau was one of China’s earliest private postal services, built in a Western-influenced style reflecting the country’s early modernization. Just a short walk away, the Lin Family Ancestral Hall tells the story of traditional Confucian clan life, charity systems, and family reverence in Fujian’s past.
Zeng Family Nanyang Mansion. Nicknamed the "Nanyang Dream in Red Brick," this stunning mansion showcases the lifestyle of overseas Chinese who returned from Southeast Asia in the early 20th century.
Marvel at the architectural mix of Western columns, Gothic windows, and classic Fujian red bricks—all echoing a time when fortune and nostalgia coexisted. It’s a photogenic and culturally rich stop.
Zhangzhou Old Town Walk. Wander through time as your guide takes you through the lanes of ancient Zhangzhou. Pass through stone archways inscribed with family names, visit the Memory Museum to learn about life in Republican-era China, admire the vintage Zhangzhou Department Store facade, and step inside the Puppet Arts Exhibition Hall to witness one of Fujian’s most treasured performing arts: glove and string puppetry. This walk blends folklore, architecture, and living heritage in every corner.
Traditional Scented Sachet DIY Workshop. Unwind in a tranquil courtyard as you join a local artisan for a hands-on cultural experience.
