Description
Snowshoe in magical winter landscape in darkness. After the hike, we enjoy warm traditional Swedish Glögg by a campfire—or indoors if the weather turns. A cozy Arctic evening to remember!
A COZY ARCTIC EVENING BENEATH THE NORTHERN SKY
As evening falls in Abisko, the landscape transforms into something quiet, mysterious, and deeply beautiful. This guided snowshoe experience invites you to slow down and feel the magic of the Arctic night. Moving gently through the snow and away from bright lights, we give ourselves the chance to truly experience the northern sky — and if we are lucky, the Northern Lights may appear above us.
We walk at a comfortable pace, allowing time for stillness, wonder, and connection to nature. Along the way, your guide shares stories about Arctic life, northern light traditions, and what it means to live close to this powerful winter environment.
After the snowshoe walk, we gather to enjoy traditional Swedish Glögg — a warm, spiced winter drink cherished in Sweden. When the weather allows, we sit outside by a crackling fire. If conditions are harsh, we move indoors to a cozy and welcoming space. Either way, the feeling remains the same: warmth, comfort, and shared experience.
This is not a rushed northern lights chase.
It is a calm, meaningful evening in nature — designed with care, warmth, and presence.
Welcome to the Arctic night, as it’s meant to be experienced.
