Discover one of Colombia's most iconic destinations on this full-day experience from Medellin to Guatape and the Piedra del Peñol.
The activity begins at Parque del Poblado, where you'll board comfortable tourist transport accompanied by a trip coordinator throughout the tour.
The first stop will be at Alto del Chocho, a panoramic point that's ideal for enjoying the Antioquia mountains and having a hot snack.
You will then visit the Replica del Viejo Peñol, a cultural space that preserves the historical memory of the old town that was flooded during the construction of the dam.
You'll then arrive at the famous Piedra del Peñol, one of the most visited natural attractions in Colombia. There, you'll have some free time to climb its more than 700 steps (optional ascent) and enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the reservoirs and mountains.
The experience continues with a boat ride on the Guatapé Dam, where you can appreciate natural landscapes, holiday homes, and various tourist spots from the water.
During the tour, you'll enjoy a typical Colombian lunch, which is included.
Finally, you'll stroll through the colorful streets of Guatapé, the Plazoleta de los Zócalos, the Calle de los Recuerdos, and the tourist promenade. You'll also have free time to take pictures, buy souvenirs, and enjoy the local atmosphere.
