Take the eco-bus to Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, then ride the Bailong Elevator (own expense) to the top. Relax during your 1.5-hour return ride. Your guide will introduce Dayong Ancient City—built in Tujia architectural style and filled with street food, handmade crafts, and folk performances. Sample must-try Tujia dishes with your guide’s English explanation, like Sanxia Pot (Tujia-style hotpot with cured meats and intestines) and Sugar Oil Baba (crispy rice cakes with brown sugar syrup). Enjoy 1 hour of free time to taste more dishes or browse handicraft stalls. Watch spontaneous Tujia dance and song shows in the plaza.
